The trial judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, gave the date after counsel in the matter adopted their final written addresses.
While adopting his address, Chief Goddy Uche, (SAN), counsel to the accused person said that the extra-judicial statement obtained from his client could not be relied upon as his (Ebuware) confessional statement.

Uche submitted that there was no admission by the accused person to indicate that he committed the offence.
The court had on May 3, 2012 removed Ebuware from the list of suspects charged with the Independence Day bombing for him to be tried separately.
